No Limits May 2018 Client Spotlight Featuring Rikelle Enderle
We are excited to introduce this month’s Client Spotlight, Rikelle Enderle! She has been with No Limits Fitness for well over a year, and she’s yet another member that is such a pleasure to train with. Rikelle brings her “A Game” to every session, works hard and never complains (except when too much Hip Hop is playing).
Read on to hear her wins, as well as her down to earth and very awesome insight!
Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote & GIF?
A: You can do it!
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals?
A: Well, at first I thought I’d like to get down to the size I was in high school, but then I realized how unrealistic that was. Now, I just want to feel comfortable in my clothes and be happy with what I see in the mirror.
Q: What ONE thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals?
A: Thinking about how hard it was to get through a workout when I first started. I could barely breath, I was exhausted and weak for days. I don’t want to start over again!
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us?
A: I think like most people in my generation and older, I was very active as a child. I was always outside riding bikes, climbing trees, hopping fences, etc. I had great muscle tone and energy for days until I entered my thirties. I became sedentary in a new career as a Dental Hygienist. I found my clothes weren’t fitting the same, and I was always tired and depressed. I tried different gyms and at home workouts, but never stuck with anything long term. I think it was boredom that would ultimately lead to my quitting. After finishing a CrossFit boot camp, I came across a Groupon for No Limits Fitness 6 week boot camp and signed up with a friend.
Q: How has No Limits Fitness made a difference in your life?
A: I would like to say that No Limits Fitness has made working out “fun” but I still don’t think working out is “fun!” So let’s just say that the NLF family has made it less awful! I’ve also gained the knowledge that the scale isn’t a reliable source to determine if I’m “losing weight.” If I judged my results solely by what my bathroom scale said, I would have quit a long time ago!
Q: What kinds of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far?
A: I wish I was a goal-oriented person; maybe it would be easier to recognize success in myself. I never really set any goals when I began with NLF, I just knew that I was unhealthy and unhappy. Now, I definitely have more energy! I’m accomplishing more around my home and I’m happier too.
Q: What kinds of results have you achieved so far?
A: The result I am most proud of is the fact that I can do push-ups on my toes again! I’ve also lost about 15lbs and gained a good amount of muscle.
Q: What made you decide to want to join No Limits Fitness?
A: After having my ass handed to me during the 6 week boot camp, I realized that I need to show up somewhere and have someone else tell me what to do! I guess I like the way Mike and Davina boss us around! I also love the personal touch that NLF adds. It’s amazing to get a text, phone call, email, Facebook message and so on from them trying to figure out where you’ve been and why you haven’t been coming to work out!
Q: What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?
A: “Give it a try; you might just surprise yourself!”
Q: What is your “word” of the year?!
We are so proud of you, Rikelle! Keep up the amazing work!
