No Limits Fitness June Client Spotlight
Featuring Darwin Dominguez
We’re happy to introduce June’s Client Spotlight, Darwin. He joined No Limits Fitness in January for our 6 Week Challenge and had great success! Since then his determination and consistency has been evident. Darwin works extremely hard at boot camp and has been focused on increasing his strength and endurance. His story is inspiring and his goals are ones that we should all have for ourselves. We are thrilled that he joined our No Limits Fitness Family!
Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote?
A: Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals?
A: I want to be healthy through exercise and good nutrition, to avoid medications and live a quality life in my later years.
Q: What ONE thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals?
A: Fear of gaining all the weight I lost back because I’ve worked too hard to lose it.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us?
A: I’m a high school teacher, married with 3 kids 21, 17, and 9. I used to work out a lot before. But throughout the years, because of my busy schedule with teaching and coaching in school and at the club level, exercise has not been a priority. Last summer my wife and I were introduced to NLF by a good friend of ours and later we decided to take the 6 week challenge.
Q: How has No Limits Fitness made a difference in your life?
A: No limits Fitness fits my schedule perfectly. You go in and work your butt off for 45 minutes and you’re out. The best thing about it is that you see the results, or better yet feel the results in just a few weeks. This motivates you to keep going. I feel more fit and healthier than I have in a long time.
Q: What kind of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far?
A: I’ve lost 35 lbs, gained muscle mass and lowered my body fat percentage from 34.4% to 26%.
Q: What made you decide to want to join No Limits Fitness?
A: The 6 week challenge and the great results I obtained in such little time motivated me to join NLF.
Q: What kind of results have you achieved so far?
A: I’ve lost 35 lbs, my body fat percentage has gone down from 34% to 26%, I’ve gained more muscle definition and my clothes fits better. I’ve had to buy new clothes because most of my old clothes no longer fits.
Q: What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change and committing to their goals?
A: This has actually come up several times already. I have a few friends who are on the fence and what I told them is that it is all worth it. You put some work in and you see the results. It’s the best choice you can make. It worked for me and if it could work for me, I’m sure it can work for anyone else. You do the workouts, follow the nutrition plan (which by the way is awesome) and you have an accountability coach to help you through it all which makes it even easier to stick to your goals.
