We are incredibly excited about our June spotlight, Kimberlee!
She’s been a part of our No Limits Fitness family for over 4 years!
Kimberlee is one of those special members who goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
We know you are going to find her down to earth insight helpful and her commitment inspirational. We are honored that she chose No Limits to be her gym family.
Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote?
A: Don’t sweat the small stuff.
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals?
A: I want to be strong and healthy and live a long time to spoil my grandchildren.
Q: What ONE thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals?
A: I enjoy exercising, even when it is hard, and even when I have to stop. If I miss days, my desire to get and stay healthy keeps me focused.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us?
A: I am 48 years old. I am an office manager. I enjoy riding motorcycles, and I go mudding and camping with my family a lot. I feel much younger than 48. I got started at NLF quite a few years ago from a Facebook post that Mike did, and my son is also a member.
Q: How has No Limits Fitness made a difference in your life?
A: NLF gives me a release from the stress I have. I have a “gym” family that is truly amazing. It is more than just workouts and losing weight.
Q: What kinds of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far?
A: I have lost weight, gained it back and lost it again. It happens, but I just keep moving forward. I have lost 30 pounds and have kept it off. I have about 30 lbs more to go to get to my goal weight. I am stronger and feel better mentally and physically.
Q: What made you decide to join No Limits Fitness?
A: The people, the trainers and the other gym members. They make it fun-not “work”.
Q: What was the obstacle that almost prevented you from joining?
A: Finances! Money is usually what prevents me from doing important things or lack thereof. In the past, I’ve had gym memberships and didn’t go. NLF is different from other gyms, which is why I have been here this long and plan to stay forever.
Q: What has exceeded your expectations since joining?
A: NLF is a second home, a family. I have learned a lot about myself, my goals, my abilities, my strengths and my weaknesses.
Q: What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?
A: JUMP!!! Life is too short to not do something for yourself. Don’t “wait until you can afford it” or “wait until you have time”. If I had waited until I could “afford it”, I wouldn’t have had my daughter…just saying!
Q: What is your “word” for this year?
