How To Lose 25 Pounds Like Joe

How to lose 25 pounds

Joe travels for work. That was the part that kept undoing him. The weight would come off, a trip would happen, and it would come right back on.

After an ACL surgery and a shoulder injury, Joe began training at our West Melbourne facility. Joe wanted to know how to lose 25 pounds. He developed the healthy habits that have allowed him to not only lose the weight, but to keep it off.

Here it is in Joe’s words.

Before No Limits Fitness

Hi, my name is Joe. Since joining No Limits Fitness, I lost about 25 pounds, and hopefully my wife sees the results and likes it.

Previous to joining No Limits Fitness I had real trouble with keeping the weight off. Sleep was a real issue and it’s just really messing up my lifestyle, because when I work I travel a lot. Keeping the weight off was very important to me and it was one of the things that I was having to struggle with before joining No Limits Fitness.

It helped me outside the gym

My training has also helped me outside of the gym. I’m also a part of adult league kickball and I have noticed that my endurance, I don’t have to sit down for long periods of time. In the position that I played I can stay in, really do a lot of things a lot better. And it’s also helped me with my clothes fitting better, and hopefully my wife likes it too.

Why I joined

One of my main reasons for joining No Limits Fitness was I didn’t like the way I looked in photos and the way I felt when I was around family. But since joining them everything has becoming a lot better. I’m able to focus, I’m able to get to sleep, and I’ve been able to maintain the weight off since 2022.

What I like about No Limits Fitness

One of the things I like about No Limits Fitness is the flexibility of the workout program, the hours, the time, the coaching. I have no excuses that I can use that I can’t come in and get a workout Monday through Sunday. There’s no reason, no excuses, and everything that they have so far has been able to fit my lifestyle. Even if it’s some of the workouts that I feel like I can’t do because of my past ACL surgery or shoulder hurt, they can figure out something that will help me get a benefit that’ll work.

My advice

If you’re looking for excuse or anything, I learned with No Limits Fitness is that once you get here, that’s the hardest part. Everything after that is easy. Because you know what Ric Flair says: to be the man, you got to beat the man. Woo!

Joe still travels. The shoulder still complains. He still gets the workout in.

He is right about the hard part, by the way. It’s the start that stops most people. Two years of keeping it off is what happens after.
